The Dementia Research Community is managed by Bondi2Berry Incorporated. We are a voluntary committee and are passionate about raising awareness of dementia. We donate our time and are not financially remunerated for the work we do.

Founded in 2016 to organise the inaugural Bondi2Berry Ride to Remember, we have grown in stature and formed Bondi2Berry Incorporated, also knows as the Dementia Research Community, as a not for profit organisation and attained Deductable Gift Registry status in 2022.
Our Mission
Bondi2Berry Incorporated’s mission is to increase understanding of, and help find a cure for dementia.
We are a charity whose purpose is to advance health and increase awareness of dementia by:
- Organising large scale cycling events that increase awareness of dementia, and help improve community health and well-being.
- Raising money to fund dementia specific research projects and help find a cure for dementia.
- Communicating dementia related information to continue to educate the community about the disease to help fundraising.
- Organising community engagement events and school visits that enable people to talk about their experiences with dementia to assist in raising awareness and fundraising.
Our Fundraising
Our mission is to not only raise awareness of dementia, but funds for vital research. To date, we’ve been fortunate enough to support four research grants.
We appreciate every single donation we receive, and we ensure that every dollar goes to where it is needed most. As a voluntary not for profit organisation, we commit to a minimum 90% of our fundraising (less transaction and associated fees) being allocated to fund research projects to help find a cure for dementia.

We report on all our work, and our Annual Information Statement and Financial Report will be available at the conclusion of our financial year as per ACNC requirements.
